GSCCO has a very strong network infrastructure designed to provide the highest levels of reliability, availability, manageability, flexibility, and performance, it is supported by two-multi layer Cisco Catalyst 6509 series switches (Backbone), which are connected through dual gigabit links. Each is equipped with full back up supervisor, load balancing, standby power supplies, system clocks, uplinks, switch fabrics and cooling fans. Our remote location is connected through a single mode fiber optic (SMF) cable using 850-micron technology. Both locations are equipped with CISCO Catalyst 3500-XL series switches. We have designed our remote location to minimize the number of workstations connected to each switch to decrease the traffic load handled by each switch. This ensures an optimal level of performance, reducing the network traffic and providing the best possible service to our customers.
